Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe, at an altitude of 2300m. The Val Thorens valley is made up of three separate villages: Les Menuires, Val Thorens and Saint Martin de Belleville. With its own glacier and a peak elevation of 3200m, one thing youβre guaranteed is amazing snow-sure conditions throughout the season and well into late spring.
The damage deposit needs to be paid on arrival. They range from 100β¬ to 1500β¬ depending on the size of the apartment and the number of people.
The 'taxe de sejour' is a tourist or visitor tax that has to be paid when visiting France. It ranges from 0.20β¬ and to 4.20β¬ per person per night and changes depending on the classification of accommodation.
