Sssssshhhhhhh…. We’re heading over to the awesome Swiss resort of Laax but this is our little secret.
Laax is part of largest ski area in Switzerland but hardly anyone knows about it outside the country – meaning few or zero lift queues and the mountains to yourselves.
Why else do we love Laax? Well, it’s massive assortment of slopes gives ample mountain fun for beginners, intermediaries and those after a steadier pace, whether that’s down to your skiing ability or the hangover from the night before…
While there aren’t many majorly challenging blacks, the top-drawer freeride runs and off-piste terrain, particularly from La Siala and Cassons, fully make up for it.
It has to be said, the nightlife is a little quieter during the week, but wheels fall off when the young people arrive from Munich at the weekends.

Booking your own flights means that you’re not pigeon holed you into flight times which may not suit you, you have complete flexibility and have the freedom to work to your own agenda, and it’s often far better value too. So why not avoid that ungodly 4.00am flight (unless you like them of course) and do your own thing.
